Among other things the agreement stipulates that Racos and all of its products will be traded under the name of AUCOTEC. The Constance headquarters will be kept in its entirety, with all employees, and the product range will be continued to be further developed.
Apart from the location, Racos, with its focus on the development of professional software systems for the planning and documentation of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic facilities, contributes in particular its experience and recognized competence in electrical cabinet design and service information.
AUCOTEC owes its reputation as one of the largest vendor of software systems for the planning and operation of electrical and measuring and control technology plants to the successful products Engineering Base, ELCAD, RUPLAN and AUCOPLAN. Moreover AUCOTEC offers a network of international partnerships and subsidiaries, tried and tested for decades, and has extensive development competence in mechanical engineering and plant construction, process engineering, power generation and distribution as well as in cabling technology. |
